At Yashi, we believe your home deserves more than just decoration. It deserves presence. Ritual. Soul.
We don’t create objects to fill a space. We create experiences to inhabit it. A Yashi candle is a fragment of stillness, a portal back to yourself. Lighting it is an invitation to pause, to breathe, to reconnect.

And in a time when life moves too fast, we choose to craft slow beauty, objects that awaken the senses, hold emotion, and remind us that peace is not something to seek outside, but something we can invoke from within.

Each Yashi candle is born from the meeting of four elements: earth, fire, air, and intention.
Our vessels are made from high-end European glass, mouth-blown using the ancestral technique of cane-blowing. This traditional method gives each piece a soul of its own : subtle irregularities, delicate bubbles, slight variations in shape. All signs of a living object shaped by human breath.
To each candle we add a semi-precious stone, chosen not just for its beauty, but for its energy. Every stone is hand-selected by a certified gemologist and sourced under the Conscious Stones label, ensuring traceability and ethical extraction.
No two stones are alike, just like no two people are alike. The stone becomes your companion, your anchor, your energetic mirror.

Luxury, for us, means integrity. It means that beauty and ethics are not mutually exclusive, they are inseparable.
Our candles are hand-poured in a Belgian atelier that honors artisanal traditions with precision and care. We work exclusively with materials sourced from within Europe, in order to minimize our impact and ensure total traceability.
From the fragrance, created in Grasse, the cradle of fine perfumery, to the label that wraps each candle, nothing is left to chance. Every detail is guided by a simple question: Is this aligned with what we believe in ?
We collaborate only with artisans. We work slowly, consciously, and respectfully.
Because we believe that the energy behind an object is just as important as the object itself.

Yashi was born from a shared intuition. That objects could do more than scent a room. They could hold space for something deeper.
The vision is carried by three individuals with complementary strengths and sensibilities: Jill Vandermeulen, creator, storyteller, and seeker of sacred beauty. Jenna Peij, designer, intuitively attuned to emotion, balance and form. Simon Gerard, producer and strategic mind, weaving vision into structure.

In a world where everything looks the same, where objects are endlessly reproduced until they lose all individuality, we have forgotten the beauty of the rare. The warmth of an artisanal gesture, the poetry of an imperfect yet unique creation, has been replaced by a cold and sanitized daily life.
Yashi was born from the desire to bring soul back into our interiors. We wanted to create candles that are not mere scented objects, but true sensory experiences—moments suspended in time. Each Yashi is a fragment of beauty, a ritual that invites you to slow down and rediscover serenity.
All our candles are mouth-blown using ancestral glassmaking savoir-faire. Each one bears the invisible imprint of human breath, which gives it life and makes it absolutely unique. No two pieces are alike: the material lives, the gesture shapes it, and the result becomes a singular work of art.
To this uniqueness, we add a semi-precious stone, carefully chosen for its virtues and its energy. We work exclusively with Nasoha, whose Conscious Stones label guarantees an ethical and responsible selection. Each stone, rare and precious, embodies a link to the earth and to our deepest emotions. Together, glass and stone form a subtle alliance between tangible beauty and invisible strength.
